Get ready for an exciting revival of grassroots football in Ghana! The Milo U-13 Champions League is back after a five-year break, and it's set to ignite a passion for the beautiful game across the country. With over 100,000 schoolchildren from all 16 regions gearing up for battle, this tournament promises to be a spectacle like no other.
Organized by Nestlé Ghana Ltd. in partnership with the Ghana Education Service and endorsed by the Ghana Football Association, this year's edition is a testament to the power of collaboration. Young players aged 9 to 13 will take center stage, showcasing their skills and representing their regions with pride.
The championship unfolds in three thrilling phases: District, Zonal, and the highly anticipated National Finals. Sixteen schools will emerge victorious from the Zonal Playoffs, advancing to the national stage where over 20,000 aspiring footballers will compete for glory.
Mark your calendars for the national finals, scheduled to take place at the iconic Paa Joe Park, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, from December 2nd to 6th, 2025. It's a date that promises to be etched in the hearts of football enthusiasts across Ghana.
The official launch last Friday at the Nestlé Ghana Headquarters in Accra was a nostalgic affair. Guests were treated to a captivating documentary, reliving the tournament's memorable moments from 2016 to 2019. The event buzzed with energy, featuring lively jama sessions, inspiring solidarity messages, and thought-provoking speeches. A highlight was the unveiling of a refreshed competition logo, and the presentation of a trophy donated by none other than Ghanaian football legend Abedi Ayew Pele.

The launch venue transformed into a celebration of football heritage, featuring a legacy wall adorned with photo galleries from past tournaments and a trophy tunnel, offering fans and media an immersive experience.
