The crew, consisting of Russian commander Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, his compatriot Sergey Mikayev, and NASA's Christopher Williams, embarked on an eight-month mission. "We spent a lot of time together in Star City, running through simulations in the small Soyuz capsule," Williams explained. "It was a great opportunity to bond and prepare for the challenges ahead."
